Our Vision At Chelsea Forest School, children learn outdoors and in a child-led environmnt. Chelsea Forest school strives to create a learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Inclusive programming is foundational to the school’s ethos. Why this matters now Children today are spending less time outdoors than ever before. At the same time, anxiety, disconnection, and environmental challenges are increasing. Forest school offers a proven, powerful opportunity for children with benefits including: Improved mental and physical health Stronger social and emotional development Deep environmental awareness We believe every child should have access to this experience—today and in the future. Our goal: a permanent fund for lasting impact We are building an Endowment Fund to ensure the long-term sustainability of Chelsea Forest School. This fund will: Allow for more inclusive programming and support staff to ensure all children’s needs are met Generate stable annual income Support essential operational costs Provide resilience during uncertain times Allow us to focus on what matters most: the children Our first milestone: Grow the fund to $400,000, generating approximately $15,000 per year to support our programs sustainably.
