Fundraising

In order to keep our fees low and our school affordable, Chelsea Forest School conducts several fundraising initiatives every year to supplement the amount collected from tuition. You will be very happy to know that  our school is an accredited charity!

United Way

Supporting our innovative Forest School school program can be as easy as a deduction from your paycheck.  Did you know that you could direct all or a portion of your United Way gift or payroll deduction directly to Chelsea Forest School (formerly known as CCNS)?   Many United Way donors choose to support us this way.   It’s easy—simply fill in “CCNS” and our Charitable Registration Number (106911076RR0001) on the United Way pledge form provided to you by your employer.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has designated their United Way contribution to us.  We don’t know who you are because of United Way’s privacy restrictions, but know that families in our community are benefiting from your generosity.

Fundraisers

We rely on fundraising to keep the school running so it is a very important part of all members’ commitment to our cooperative. We also encourage you to be creative and let us know if you’d like to run a small fundraiser on your own.  A garage sale, a cookie and lemonade stand with your kids or if you own a business that could help contribute to a fundraiser that would be great too.

Here’s a few examples of fundraisers that we have done in the last few years.

T-Shirt Sale Fundraising

Selling t-shirt/hat for adult and kids.

Chelsea Forest School Family Fun Fair

A fun day filled with activity for the whole family. We raised money by selling hot-dogs, pop-corn and a silent auction.

Beer and Wine Raffle

Selling tickets for a beer and wine raffle.
